(PDF format) What is the program? Home Inspection Training Services offers financial assistance through Sallie Mae, (SLM Corporation), a private educational lender. Students can finance the cost of the class, travel expense, the cost of licensing, and the cost of their business start-up at low reasonable rates over a 15 year term for as little as $30 per month. How much will Sallie Mae assist? Sallie Mae will finance any or all of the following: the cost of the class, $1990; travel expenses related to the class: transportation, food and lodging; the cost of the test ($118); the state license ($400) and the start-up CD ($500). Who qualifies? Sallie Mae will finance any qualified person interested in advancing or changing their career. Even those with a weak credit history are able to get solid financing through Sallie Mae. How to qualify: Simply fill out a Sallie Mae Financing Application through Home Inspection Training Services, either on the phone or in person at our Mundelein office. Within an hour we will be able to verify your acceptance. What happens once I qualify? Once you have been accepted by Sallie Mae, you will then fill out the Home Inspection Training Services application. Submit the application and the $400 deposit to guarantee a seat in the class. The deposit is fully refunded to you on the first day of class and Sallie Mae will pay for the class in its entirety. How can I get started?
